Gold-plated jewellery is finished with a delicate layer of gold over a base metal. How long that finish lasts depends largely on how the piece is worn, stored and cared for — so our policy for plated pieces differs from our solid gold jewellery.
What isn't covered

Unlike our solid gold, plated pieces aren't covered by lifetime maintenance.

The plating naturally wears with daily use, so we can't guarantee it for life.

Longevity depends on how the piece is used, so plated jewellery carries no warranty.

Caring for your plated jewellery
Remove before bathing, swimming or workouts — moisture and sweat speed up wear.
Wear after perfume, lotion and make-up; take it off before bed.
Keep it in the pouch or box provided, away from metal that can scratch it.
Dab with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Avoid chemical jewellery cleaners.
